A. Yes. Stone Coast Academy is accredited by the National Association of Independant and Private Schools (NCIPS). Please contact them through their website at www.ncips.org to verify our accreditation. Stone Coast Academy is NOT regionally accredited.
Q. Will employers accept this diploma?
A. Yes, employers in all 50 states have accepted a Stone Coast Academy diploma for employment but keep in mind that having one will not guarantee that you get the job. Job acceptance is at the discretion and choice of the employer.
Q. Will I be able to attend college with this diploma?
A. You must check with the college.
Every college has its own set of admissions requirements and some of them may not accept online programs. Depending on your past performance and academic achievements, you may or may not be accepted to the school of your choice. Having a High School Diploma from any High School including Stone Coast Academy does not guarantee you entrance into a college or university.
We recommend checking with the college of your choice before registering with us to make sure that you are eligible for admission into that college.
Q. Will I be able to enroll in the military with this diploma?
Only a recruiter can tell you if you qualify for the military. Contact a recruiter before registering with Stone Coast Academy to see if you qualify.
Q. How long does it take to receive my high school diploma?
A. That depends on you. You'll need to pass the 5 exams, submit a copy of your identifications and pay your balance in full. However long it takes you to do this is how long the program will take you. Once you graduate, we will have your diploma shipped out within 3 business days.
Q. Do you offer a payment plan?
A. Yes. You can get started with a payment of $49. After that, you can make any combination of payments until your full balance is paid off. You can choose to send a little bit of money every day or every other week. It is entirely up to you. Your diploma will be generated and mailed once you are paid in full and the paperwork that we require is finished.
Q. How many times can I take the test? Is there an extra charge to re-take it?
A. You can take the test multiple times and there is NO additional charge to do so. Again, there is absolutely no charge to re-take the test.
Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. Our normal method of payment is with a credit card online but we do accept bank checks or money orders. We do not accept personal checks. If you do not have a credit card, please contact us to make arrangements to pay by these other methods.
Q. I'm not a US citizen or I live outside the US. Can I still get my diploma from you?
A. There are no residency restrictions for our school or our online diploma program. However, our strict identification requirements are still in effect and we will only ship diploma packages to the United States.
Q. What is included with my high school diploma package?
A. Your official high school diploma from Stone Coast Academy and your official high school transcript. Should you have transcripts from your previous high school, there is a $10 charge for us to add them to your permanent record and send you the updated transcript.
